Today, October 27th, we played Washington & Lee again at VMI.  It started off really well when Chimpong scored on this sick looking shot to the top of the net from like only a few feet away.  After that we held them scoreless for quite some time.  After some sick saves by ol' Matt Saccone, aka Panda Bear, we ended up letting in a couple goals, and in an ironic twist of fate, one from a header off of a player who shall remane nameless (Judy Miller, 82 days in prison style).  Also in the first half Brandon "BD (basement drinking)" DeLong pulled his groin and was forced to retire to his third stoop bungalow.  Anyways, I had to leave soon after half time to go to work.  You know that local Telemarketer Teamsters 880 hooks it up but I still got to show up on time.  When I left we were down like 5-1.  Anyhow, allegedly, we came back in the end and made it 4-5 only to be held from that elusive tieing goal.  I have no idea who scored the last few goals but I'll put money that it wasn't Shawn Jones, who?  Shawn Jones.

Despite the loss, however, there were some positives that came out of the game:

1. Ol' C. Romaine Burns did NOT get arrested

2. Molly "Dump Truck" Newton was truckin' bamas like a no limit soldier over on the right side

3. No one got shot like at Georgia Avenue Day

4. Everybody got to play

5. I think we all had fun laughing on the sideline at least once (lord knows I did a few times)

6. Chimpong didn't send anyone to the hospital

7. Mercer has lots of energy and is also from New Jersey
